Zafaaran : Peace & Freedom Edition

The pattern on the beautiful Zafaraan timepiece is derived from the intricate tilework of Hisham’s Palace at Jericho - located in the modern West Bank.  Built in the 8th century during the Umayyad era, the palace—also known as Khirbat al-Mafjar—is home to some of the largest and best-preserved mosaic pavements in the world.

Rendered in a stunning sunburst hue, the watch’s name and color are a tribute to Palestinian Saffron - a traditional spice harvested for generations particularly among the mountains and valleys of the Nablus region. 

The case back features an emblem of an olive tree filled with birds with the words of Palestinian poet Marwan Makhoul engraved above it: "In order to hear the birds, the warplanes must be silent."
